  Made to order in Mahogany or Cherry any size, including childrens sizes. We need to know a) the size of the mattress, b) the thickness of the box spring and mattress and c) the height off the floor you want the top edge of the mattress. The thickness of bedding varies considerably among manufacturers. The positions and width of the head and floorboards are determined by the height of the top of the mattress. The bed is shipped completely disassembled. We use mortise-and-tenon construction held with in-line bolts. A socket wrench and an open end wrench will do. The bed is very sturdily built with slightly heavier post than antiques of similar design. It is rattle free. Really. We can alter the design of the headboard. We can hand carve names, initials, dates, quotations, logos, etc on the bed.
